REM Business Solutions was established in 2008. We are a locally owned and operated small business with a great understanding of how we can help other local businesses, both big and small. We also specialise in farm and agriculture bookkeeping services including agricultural contracting. We recognise the increasing complexities involved with financial reporting requirements for time-poor business owners and our focus is on lessening the burden businesses face when preparing their financial information.
We provide a mobile service that allows our bookkeeping services to be carried out at your preferred location or alternatively, prepared in our office.
Meet Our Staff
Rebecca Balfour - The Director
As director of REM Business Solutions, Rebecca commenced her business in 2008 after gaining experience whilst working for local accountants. She has had 25 years of accounting, bookkeeping and administration experience.
She is a qualified accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Southern Queensland. She is also a registered BAS Agent with the Australian Taxation Office and a Fellow member of the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT).
Born and bred in Warwick, she is a working mum who enjoys the flexibility of meeting her clients needs around her own family life. She enjoys cooking, gardening, camping and being outdoors with her family.
Jessica Mundey - Administration and Bookkeeping Assistant
Graduating secondary education in 2004, Jessica has previously held management roles for Big W working in various locations in Queensland. Jessica returned to her home town Warwick 6 years ago. Jessica holds a Certificate IV in Bookkeeping.
She enjoys spending time with family, friends and fishing.
Karen Christensen - Administration and Bookkeeping Assistant
Born and raised in Warwick, Karen has over 20 years in Bookkeeping and Administration experience. She Graduated from USQ in 2018 with an Associated Degree of Business and Commerce. Karen enjoys reading, the outdoors spending time with her family.
